Our Impact
We are a clothing shop on Main Street in Fairlie. We are not going to tell you we have solved anything. What we can do is be specific about what we are doing, and show you where to check it.
A tree for every online order
Online orders come with a footprint of their own. We started doing something about it on 12 August 2026, ten years into the business. Every online order placed on this site plants a real tree through Greenspark.
No opt-in, no box to tick, no extra charge. Every order, including sale orders.
One order, one tree. Order twice and that is two trees.
How it actually works
You place an order. We pay Greenspark. Greenspark funds the planting through its partner projects and records it against our account. The count on our public ledger goes up.
None of that depends on us telling you about it. The ledger is Greenspark's, not ours, and it is open whether we link to it or not.
Where the trees go
Our trees are planted through the EarthLungs Reforestation Projects and through a mangrove restoration programme in Kenya.
Mangroves are worth understanding. They grow in salt water along the coast, they hold carbon in the mud around their roots as well as in the wood, and the tangle of prop roots takes the force out of storm surge before it reaches the land behind. The crews doing the planting are paid properly for it, with healthcare and insurance, so the work lands twice — once on the coastline and once in the town doing it.

The numbers
- 686trees planted
- 0.68 acof new forest area
- 6.3 tCO2 a year once grown
These come straight from Greenspark, not from us, and they move as orders come in. The last one is worth reading carefully: it is what those trees will draw down each year once they are grown, not what they are doing today. A tree takes years to get there.
Greenspark publishes the evidence behind the projects every quarter. The full ledger is on our live impact page.
