Our cable chain strung with freshwater pearls. Dressy enough for a wedding, plain enough for a Tuesday.
MATERIALS
18kt gold vermeil. Three microns of 18kt gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Vermeil is the step above gold plating: a real silver core, and a gold layer at least 2.5 microns thick. Ours is three.
CARE
Last thing on, first thing off. Perfume, hairspray and chlorine wear gold faster than anything else. Store it dry and give it a wipe with a soft cloth.
